I’m Chelsea Criswell, a wife, a mom of 2, and a teacher! I grew up outside of Dallas, married a farmer and moved to West Texas. Some of my favorite things are playing outside with my kids, coffee with creamer, the first day of school, a glass of red wine on the porch, and date nights with my guy (when we can squeeze them in).
My passion is bringing fun and efficiency into the classroom. As a teacher, I am expected to do more and be more each year. Students are starting to feel the pressure as well. I want to help teachers relieve the pressure from themselves, therefore, relieving the pressure from their students. Students learn from teachers who love them and have fun with them!
Teachers on the Block
Teaching can be so stressful, I have seen several teachers quit within the last couple years because they are overwhelmed and overworked. Teachers on the Block was created to relieve some of the stress. On this blog I will share information on how to bring fun into the classroom, how to improve student success, and show you how to be more efficient with the extra “stuff” teachers have to do in order to spend more time doing the things you love outside of the classroom.
Grab your glass of wine and find something here to help you have time to take care of you!

I have taught 5th grade math, 3rd grade, and Kindergarten. Out of the three, my heart belongs to 3rd grade. I have a bachelors in elementary education EC-6th, a masters in Educational Leadership, and a certification in educational leadership.
